Beautifully coloured as the nature intended…
Naturally Coloured BCI Cotton is grown in our own farmland, just a few kilometres away from our mill. Located in the Meander Valley of Söke, southwest of Aegean cost of Türkiye.
Naturally Coloured Cotton has existed in nature for eons and is believed to be originated in the Americas around 5000 years ago in the Andes. The heirloom seeds came from pre-Columbian stocks, which were developed by selective breeding by the indigenous peoples of South America.
Naturally Coloured Cotton plants are hardy and naturally resistant to pests, eliminating the need for environmentally damaging pesticides and insecticides.
The whole process from planting to growing to spinning uses no dyes, toxic or harmful materials. It is 100% pure and natural. It is the most environmentally friendly product possible and creates beautiful, breathable fabrics with a soft, delicate feel.
